About Dr. Amanda Delgado
Dr. Amanda Renee Delgado is a Rio Grande Valley native who has recently returned to the area after serving as an active duty OBGYN Physician for the United States Air Force for the last eight years. She is married to Jaime E. Saenz, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and fellow Rio Grande Valley native and they have two young children. The importance of family and spending time together is a strong value of Dr. Delgado’s as well as giving back to the community where she was raised. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide excellent care for the women and families of the Rio Grande Valley.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Texas Pan American in 2011 and subsequently graduated from Officer Training School at Air University in Montgomery, Alabama, as a Second Lieutenant. In 2016, she received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Consortium as an Air Force Captain. She ended her career with the Air Force as a Major after serving Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi since 2020.

Dr. Delgado is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She uses the best evidence to provide outstanding outcomes for her patients and has consistently been recognized throughout her career for her bedside manner and commitment to a collaborative care approach.
